Welcome to Management Advisory Services

Texas A&M University innovatively established a Management Advisory Services (MAS) function in 1999. MAS provides the University community cost-effective consulting services provided by a staff that understands Texas A&M operations, procedures, policies, and rules. MAS works in an advisory role with University personnel to collaboratively address risk and compliance issues, advance Vision 2020 goals, affect change, facilitate communications, and develop solutions to problems.

MAS works together with management to develop new ideas and action plans that can sharpen the organization's focus and augment and complement the existing structure, processes, and procedures. MAS integrates control concepts in action plans and provides training and support in implementing changes designed to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
